Evolution at Massey, New Zealand

Massey University is home to independent-minded researchers and teachers many of whose interests are strongly influenced by Charles Darwin's revolutionary ideas. Our science and thinking is interdisciplinary -- spanning physics, psychology, biology, mathematics and chemistry -- and curiosity-driven. Our work involves organisms of all shapes and sizes; we study life in a range of environments; our questioning spans -- and integrates -- across different levels of biological organization.

Faculty are housed in two campuses (Albany and Palmerston North) and located in several different institutes (Institute of Molecular Biosciences, Institute of Natural Sciences, Institute of Fundamental Sciences, Institute of Natural Resources, Institute of Information and Mathematical Sciences, NZ Institute for Advanced Study, School of Psychology, Institute of Veterinary, Animal and Biomedical Sciences, and in the Allan Wilson Centre for Molecular Ecology and Evolution).
